When we arrived at the hotel we were shocked by the " hotel", nightmare. It was not a hotel, It looks like an old hospital. We just turned back and went out. We didn't stay there. How can you have such a picture on the Booking site...? It is not true!

We loved the whole experience of staying at Daios. The hotel is in an excellent location and the view from our executive Seaview room was fabulous, we could even see Mount Olympus complete with snow still on top. The way the balcony was gave the impression of being on a cruise ship. The room(502) and bathroom was quite spacious and well thought out. The bed was big and very comfortable. The cute chocolates put in the room each day was a lovely little touch.
The breakfast was great with plenty of choice.

Central location and easy to get to key landmarks like Aristotelous Square, Ladadika and Thessaloniki Old Port. The room was a good size for a 3 night stay and it was great to have a balcony to enjoy the view. With the balcony door closed the room was protected from the sounds of the city outside.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided had a wide selection of foods and was perfect sustenance prior to a day of exploring the city of Thessaloniki.
Compared to other accommodation I looked at in Thessaloniki, Park Hotel was reasonably priced.

Situated in the region of Central Macedonia, Thessaloniki is the 2nd largest city in Greece and a precious cultural centre. Built near the sea, this modern metropolis used to be the crossroads between east and west, and houses some of the most amazing Byzantine and Ottoman monuments.
This lively city is full of large avenues, green squares, stunning Neo-Classical buildings and stylish shops. The White Tower of Thessaloniki is an imposing landmark on the waterfront and is the symbol of the city - a reminder of old times.

Thessaloniki, a city rich in history and culture.
Thessaloniki, a city rich in history and culture.
The city’s charm lies in its vibrant neighborhoods, historical landmarks, and delightful culinary scene.
My favorite spots included the iconic White Tower with its surroundings and the bustling Aristotelous Square. Both places are teeming with life and offer a glimpse into the city’s vibrant culture. I also recommend taking a bus to Ano Poli, a historic part of the city that offers stunning views and a glimpse into the city’s past. For beach lovers, a bus ride to Kalamaria is a must. The serene beach and the calming sea breeze make for a perfect day trip.
The culinary scene in Thessaloniki is a gastronomic delight. I particularly enjoyed dining in the bohemian part of the city, Ladadika. The area offers a great choice of food accompanied by live music, making every meal a memorable experience.
Getting around Thessaloniki was surprisingly easy. If you’re located near the city center, most places of interest are within a short walk. For longer distances, the city’s bus system is efficient and easy to navigate, especially with the help of the Moovit app.
In conclusion, Thessaloniki is a city that beautifully blends history, culture, and modernity. Whether you’re a history buff, a foodie, or a beach lover, Thessaloniki has something to offer for everyone.
This city holds a special place in my heart, and I find myself returning to it time and again.

The waterfront was very windy so I stopped at Aristoteles square. The square was nothing special.
The high point for me was discovering a little street by the name of Tositsa where there was a selection of antique shops. I bought a tiny oil painting from a nice Greek antique dealer.
The Kapani market which covers city blocks right in the downtown area was interesting.
Forget souvenir shops. Buy authentic Greek specialties from local stores for your friends and family back home.
And don’t bother trying to find a mailbox. Postage stamps and posting of cards and letters must be done at the post office. Exception: one large yellow post box at the entrance to the security lanes in the airport.

Beautiful city was excellent, many reasonably-priced, restaurants. The many bars and cafes and outdoor seating are among the best of any city. The location on the sea and its many museums and churches provided lots to do. We took a day-long excursion to Meteora that I would highly recommend; with longer stays we could have also gone to Philip's tomb and other historical places easily. The core of the city is small enough you don't have to use public transportation, and access to airport is good. The city seems much more neighborly, friendly and safe than Athens.

Thessaloniki is an amazing city.
Thessaloniki is an amazing city. Our only disappointment was not being able to stay longer. Wonderful restaurants everywhere, plenty of museums, delightful neighborhoods. We hope to return---sooner rather than later. And Sky Studios are first-class, but economical!! When we do come back, we plan to stay at Sky Studios again. Special thanks to Thanos!!
As always, Makedonia Palace never disappoints!
This is our 3rd visit, and its one of our most favourite hotels in not just Thessaloniki, but in all of Greece.
Perfectly located, away from the busy city centre, but close enough to walk into for a bite to eat, drink or some shopping.
Clean hotel, well looked after, spacious rooms, and by far the highest quality standard buffet breakfast there is in Greece.
A little on the pricey side, but more than worth the stay!
The view from the balcony was magnificent, over the fortress of Thessaloniki. Unlike in other downtown hotels, there is a place to stop with car and unload the cases, without the fear you would be picked up by the service. Just around the corner (30m) is valet garage, 15eur/day, 50 m on the other side of the hotel is a public parking, but I doubt it is much cheaper - maybe 2-3 eur less. Supermarket, shops and Tzimiski street walking distance. Good breakfast.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. It was well situated for our purpose which was to get to Lefkada.
We spent two nights here a few days apart.
On the first night we came after a 12 hour drive and there are some restaurants within 10minutes with the car. The second time we wanted to also visit Thessaloniki so we took a taxi from the hotel(there is a problem with parking spaces in the city) and back( around 12euro per trip).
Fantastic localisation in the center, close to airport bus, walking distance do railway station. Ideal place to discover Thessaloniki. Big, cozy room with aircondition, balcony. Very good breakfast with big choice in price (more than normal in hotels in this category!!!!). Next to hotel Cafe, in opposite of the street very good and very cheap restaurant with traditional greek food.
Location was 11/10. Lively area of thessaloniki, everything you could want was no longer than 2 minute walk. During the night it was calm and peaceful so no trouble falling asleep. The room and bathroom were big. One more thing for me was this cute blonde waiter in Mangiare gastrobar just outside the hotel that made it worth the price.
The Staff and their way of communication with us, the guests, was tremendous…they have fulfilled all of our requests within 5 min , which wasn’t the case in other hotels in Salonica ( Solun ) where we stayed at.
Rooftop restorant is fantastic!
Cleanliness was great which makes this hotel real 5 star hotel. We’ll be back soon for sure.
We are visiting the hotel for second time and we are very satisfied. Top location in the city center of Thessaloniki, close by every attractions. Very clean room with very nice view from the terrace, beautiful bathroom and delicious breakfast. The staff is very polite, special greetings for Georgios from the restaurant.
This property has a very good location, relative to the points of interest in Thessaloniki. We never used the car, we went by foot. The room was small but clean and nice. Parking available in front of the hotel for free or in a garage nearby for a daily fee. The host was great, in close contact all the time.
Very nice hotel, good atmosphere, very well kept, it all feels NEW. Feels like 5 stars. Underground parking very nice and spacious. Nice garden area to have a drink or some food if you don't feel like going downtown. Very good choice for transiting Thessaloniki. I would certainly come again when needed.
Perfect hotel for a city stay in the center of Thessaloniki. Very convenient underground paid parking nearby. Excellent location for a walk in the city center or for shopping. The area is quite noisy but the windows are good and isolate well. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Amazing staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and the spa, even though it's small, is a very nice bonus. Another nice fact is that children are allowed in the spa, which for us as a family was great.
The hotel is situated close to a lot of the main attractions in Thessaloniki city.
New luxury apartment at the heart of Thessaloniki and a few meters from Parking Plateia. The 5 star hotel where we usually stay during our short visits was fully booked and this apartment did not feel like a downgrade. There are several great breakfast restaurants nearby to choose from.
The room was so clean. I have never stayed at a place
cleaner than this not even a 5 star hotel. the location is centrally situated and Aristotle’s square is one block away. the room is quiet and has everything you need from robes to slippers shampoo and even a tiny washing machine!
New property with excellent service, highly recommended!
Breakfast including White omelette was really a 5 star treatment.
They took care of my car and brought it back upon departure, no need of it since hotel was situated in the center of everything.
Very polite and helpfull staff, central location, rich breakfast and very clean rooms...
Also this hotel has own parking space for the guests.. (it is super hard to find a parking space at central thessaloniki because all car parks are always full)
- Staff was very friendly and helpfull!
- Windows with sound insulation, which is not the case with other hotels in the center of Thessaloniki!
- Comfort rooms
- Very rich and healthy breakfast
I ve been in many apartments and hotels in Thessaloniki (Booking knows that haha). My price range is 30-50 euros. This is by far the best apartment that i ve been in Thessaloniki so far. Bravo!
