Platamonas is a little seaside town on the west coast of Greece and it is easy to get there by car from Athens as the toll road is in excellent condition. There are many restaurants and bars that one can choose to eat at and the beaches are well organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. One of the main reasons for our visit was that we wanted to climb up Mount Olympus and as Platamonas is only a half hour drive from Litochory (where most of the walks begin) it was the perfect place to visit for a few days.

Excellent for people who would like to enjoy the nightlife of Platamonas. If you are travelling with children or you prefer quiet holidays, you would better be vary careful where your hotel is located as it gets quite noisy in the evenings and until 06/07 AM in the mornig if you are located next to the main sea-side street.

Horrible beach experience, nice food, average pool.
Horrible beach experience, nice food, average pool. Not going 2nd time.
:-( Beach :( there are rules for "not reserving" spots at the beach but NObody pays attention, even the staff. When I complained you can't have a place at 10am because everything is "booked" by towels, rocks, kids toys and whatever you can imagine BUT there are no people! The answer was "what can we do!?!"
The hotel basically abandoned the beach so stupid and arrogant people are doing what ever they want. You pay for a beach and seaside experience BUT you don't have a chance to receive it unless you fight for it or go down to a level of stupidity like the rest. Places are booked with towels at the grass area, even at the pools... Crazy. One of the reasons I will never stay here aver again.
Huge disappointment.
Pool facilities for kids were one of the reasons to book BUT the area is so slippery that almost unusable. We just tried it 2-3 times and left after falling down constantly.
Half of the sprinklers were not working :( this is at the beginning of the season :( water was full of bugs, food stuff from the pool bar.
:-) Staff is friendly, hotel is old, probably from 80ties but maintained good and rooms and bathrooms are OK. Food is great, time slots perfect (lunch till 15:00 and dinner till 22:00). Facilities are OK, you have football, tennis court, indoor pool, fitness and Kids room that is opened up to 22:00. Bars and drinks are OK, ice-cream great.
We are really happy with our vacation in Platamon. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a special menu for our president's apartment, but the food in the main menu was very good, so we didn't use the special menu (almost). The hotel has everything for a perfect vacation. For the first time in Greece, we had good WiFi. We will definitely visit again, and again.
Rooms were recently renovated and they were bright and clean with a great view. Location of the hotel is quite nice and only a short walk away from Platamonas centre and a very short drive away from a really nice beach (Panteleimonas).
We generally enjoyed our stay and would come back gladly especially if the prices went down to pre pandemic levels.
The hotel is placed on an amazing location, just 50 m from the beach.
Our room was with a balcony offering us direct view to the sea. It was freshly renovated with new beds and super comfortable mattress.
It was a very refreshing experience that you can rarely find, truly a value for money choice.
Location, for the ones who likes pebble beaches.
Also, small city of Platamon isn't far away.
Room was clean, small but comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and good for the money.
Breakfast was delicious, but not much choice soo it could be boring for somebody who staying longer.
Everything was great! The breakfast was amazing - including vegetarians! The locations is next to the port with amazing view - and parking place!
The staff is very kind and helpful!
Great holiday in Greece!
Small but very cosy hotel. We had a really good time starting with warm welcome of very friendly staff, especially lady on the reception. The hotel is close to the beach, rooms are clean, food was good...
This boutique hotel was perfect for a few days stay. It’s in a great location in the town and a five minute stroll to the beach. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
the view of our room- a giant maple tree and the sea
the quiet private balcony with a wonderful view
the elevator -- so a nice surprise!
the rich breakfast and the majestic yard of the restaurant
Breakfast varied daily which was appreciated. Room was spacious enough and beds comfortable. Pastry shop that is part of the hotel was amazing! Overall, quite cute!
Very clean, recently renovated hotel with large rooms, great staff and very good breakfast. Rooftop bar is great for a drink and you're right on the seafront.
Comfortable and clean, within walking distance from one of the best beaches in Greece. The swimming pool was great too. Very helpful and friendly stuff
