Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.
So many things to see in Seville. We did a walking tour of the old town in the evening of our arrival which gave us a good lay of the tourist area. Google/Apple Maps is very helpful when navigating through the maze of streets. If you use the bike share program you can cover a lot of ground for just a few Euros. We were most comfortable on the bike paths and stayed away from riding on the roads.

Book your trip to the Alcazar before you even leave your country, as queuing is extremely long. Visit Italica, Seville isn't vegan or vegetarian friendly however we found Arte y Sabor which was great, just check opening times. So just do drinks and flamenco show only.

Loads to see in Seville.
Loads to see in Seville. We did an open top bus tour to be able to see it all as some of the areas are quite spread out. We walked from the property to the Cathedral which is not on the bus tour as it is in a pedestrianised area. If you want to investigate the city in detail you would need at least 3 days.

I love Sevilla.
I love Sevilla. It is a beautiful town with great food, lovely people and a lot of history. The Alcazar is magnificent!
we walked a lot, but we also sat at bars to taste their amazing food. This is caracoles season, so if you like them you will be in heaven! By your tickets in advance for the main attractions! May, June, July and August are very, very hot in Sevilla. Most of the businesses close around 2 pm and re-open around 5 pm. Night life is great, late dinner, bars, tapas, flamenco. Did I say I love this city?

We live in the Costa Blanca and Sevilla is one of the places we wanted to visit. Other family were visiting Sevilla from England and we decided to join them at the same hotel, The hotel is a 4* hotel and lived up to expectations. The city of Sevilla is full of interesting places to visit - we used the sightseeing bus to find the places of interest and visit them easily. The bus ticket also had free entrance or discounts on entrance to a number of places and ran some organised tours. There is a wide range of cafes and restaurants and we enjoyed good food at reasonable prices.
A very Andalusian atmospheric hotel, very quiet bedrooms with comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool on the terrace of the building with a beautiful view of the old town. We came to Seville for Euro 2020 in a group of 10. We ordered dinner at the hotel in advance, from the Gourment menu, the quality of the food met our expectations. The hotel's Sales Manager was very helpful in arranging outdoor activities like guided tour ( Alkazar and Cathedral ) and the boat tour on the Guadalquivir River.
Location was great, the staff were very helpful, my room was comfortable, utilitarian and clean. Plenty of (solar powered) hot water so well done there.
A great base for exploring Seville’s old town.
The only downside, and this was not the hotel’s fault, was that the internet was down for the first three days. I really felt for the reception staff as their phones and booking system couldn’t be accessed. It must have made their jobs almost impossible.
Great facilities in a central location to access the major attractions of Seville, never more than 5-7minutes from the action. Some lovely tapas bars on your doorstep and numerous restaurants, seek out Manzil for something very special. Stay in the old town, the newer trendy parts near Alfonso hotel are just overly pretentious, the real Seville is to be found in the narrow streets and alley's, where real gems are to be found.
The apartment was very beautifully decorated. And it's very convenient for a family as compared to smaller hotel rooms.
It had basic amenities and coffee, tea etc.
Finding the apartment was a little challenging as I didn't understand the Spain address format. But Paula and Gines were extremely helpful and patient.
Their record book of information for a visitor was also very comprehensive and useful.
Host Elena was very responsive to questions and issues. House was very good for what we needed—2 bedrooms, at least 2 bathrooms (there were actually 3, which is unusual in Spain!) for us and daughter, son-in-law, and 5 year old granddaughter. Facilities adequate and location great—on quiet street 2 minutes from 10 + tapas bars and restaurants.
In our ten day trip to Spain, this was our best apartment. Super clean, perfect location, comfortable. Beds were wonderful. It was so modern and new. We used the washing machine. Last, no one tells you they have a concierge, Karina, who is available for WhatsApp for all your needs: taxi, restaurant recommendations, flamenco tickets, whatever.
My wife and I had a fantastic stay in Seville. The hotel was above all comfortable with a very helpful and pleasant staff. The location is in perhaps a quieter section of the old town, but that is advantageous. Whilst the hotel is fairly out of the way, everything you might want to do is roughly within a twenty-minute walk in any direction.
Compact hotel on the edge of the old town of Seville, close to the train station and close to the Setas De Sevilla and the shopping district. Breakfast was very good and tasty - the Nespresso coffee in particular makes it! I used the pool on the roof. It is small but does the job if required. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The property is elegant, and in my four weeks of travel through Spain and France was far and away the best! I wish I knew more about the history of the building but clearly it was once the private residence of a wealthy family. The breakfast was also an excellent value with a very good variety and broad selection
A beautiful hotel with an antique flavor. The room was very comfortable, clean and the bed was excellent. Parking is available at the hotel and the location is great for walking to the Cathedral through the cobbled streets of old town Seville. WiFi was excellent. Breakfast was good.
The room was spacious, the panoramic view was just amazing, the furniture, the bathroom and the hotel restaurant all were just gorgeous. The staff gave a special offer as it was my first visit to Spain with a free breakfast.
Excellent property! Best stay of our entire wonderful trip in Spain. They’ve thought of everything, all the amenities in a very unique hotel. Loved the piano bar, paintings, decor, wandering layout of the place. Fantastic!
The hotel is centrally located to visit as much as possible in Seville. Lovely décor to match the location within the Old Town. Free tea/coffee nearly all day long. Room was large enough for the three of us.
Our favorite hotel of our Spain trip. Really charming design and decor of the lobby area and room. Felt much more luxurious in person. Great location, and you can reach any place of interest by walking.
Perfect traditional Spanish boutique hotel. Warm and welcoming! Great little spanish restaurant part of this family owned hotel. Always queues for tables. Book in advance! Best food in Seville!!!
Absolutely fabulous hotel in the centre of Old Town Seville, lovely roof terrace and the staff were friendly and really helpful with any questions. Our room was spacious and very clean
Super friendly and helpful reception staff. Gave lots of good recommendations about not only Madrid but other areas of Spain.
Well kitted out kitchen. Nice rooftop terrace.
