Hosts and all staff were excellent, from serving meals to showing us around the property on our arrival. Nothing was a problem and we appreciated their hospitality. Room was very clean and bathroom area excellent. A massive good quality breakfast was my personal highlight.
The Craiglands Hotel Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is set in mature, landscaped grounds and is just a 5-minute walk from Ilkley town centre. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are available.

staff were mainly nice but overstretched with nobody on reception so it was ring a bell and wait for harassed staff to race from the kitchen etc to deal with us

On the plus side, the bed linen seemed clean.
Confusingly, Bookingdotcom had sent me a pin code for door entry, which was different from the one sent by the hotel. This caused an issue with entering the building, but was sorted after a call to the hotel helpline. There were no staff in the hotel at any time, except at breakfast, which was great.

We went there as it’s the start of the Dales Way walk to Bowness-on-Windermere so only stayed one night. It’s a lovely town, a bit like a small version of Harrogate with covered walkways and Betty’s tea rooms. Some nice shops and plenty of lovely bars and places to eat.

We had a pleasant overnight trip . Ilkley has beautiful panorama and a great entertainment centre : It’s central for visiting Haworth ( home of the Brontes) and Skipton ( castle.) Great for walking and shopping at some very nice establishments.

Ilkley is a good location with plenty to see in and around the town. It is also conveniently located for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Traffic queues into town from Skipton Road can be long at peak times but this results from town centre traffic lights and there being no bypass for use by through traffic.

Excellent position with lovely views .
Excellent position with lovely views . Staff all very friendly and competent . All meals , breakfast and dinners were very enjoyable and well presented .
Ilkley itself worth a visit , quality shops and plenty of restaurants.
The staff were very helpful. We were in Ilkley for a wedding and arrived at the hotel before the wedding. We hoped to at least get our keys so that we could get in later that evening after the wedding reception without having to return before the reception started to check in. The rooms happened to be ready early and they not only gave us the keys to all our rooms, we could put our bags into the rooms saving us having to do that later.
The staff/management were all extremely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely big room on the first floor. The hotel is in an excellent location for the town centre. Parking at the hotel is very limited but there was reasonably priced meter parking very nearby - free from 6.00p.m. to 8.00a.m. The hotel suited all our needs for our one night stay in Ilkley and will be happy to return in the future.
This is the best apartment we have ever stayed in. It was immaculate with very tasteful decoration and furniture. The owner went above and beyond to make it welcoming with fresh flowers, provisions including milk and cake, even chocolates. It was amazing and we will definitely return instead of staying in Ilkley at a very nice hotel. We loved it.
We have stayed here twice when visiting family in Ilkley and will stay again. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, very comfortable, very well located in Ilkley. The host was accommodating - able to fit in with our pre-arrival requests.
The best vegetarian breakfast that I have ever had.......I'm picky!!!!
Rob greeted me with warmth & patience. It was very busy in the restaurant & he clearly had much to attend to.
My room & hotels location were perfect.
Great location with wonderfull views. Peacefull and very quite. Great walking from the door. Host very helpful but not intrusive. Easy access to West Yorkshires places of interest.
The breakfast was very good although would have preferred the option of orange juice rather than cranberry juice.
The location is excellent - right in the heart of Ilkley.
The best thing about Dalesway Hotel was Clark, the Receptionist & Bar Manager. He was so friendly & helpful and VERY interesting to chat to.
Plenty of restaurants nearby.
Hotel was a good location for access to Ilkley and surrounding locations. Room was great and no issues with the staff, parking or facilities. Overall a good experience.
Great location, quiet area but within a short walk to the town centre. Good selection of beers and tasty food. Plenty of storage in room and nicely decorated
